Kirby Drive Streetscape

The Kirby Drive Streetscape Project consists of design and construction administration for decorative street intersection designs along the major street intersections of Kirby Drive from Bissonnet to San Felipe.  The architectural improvements involve a brick paver field at the intersections with a “Texas Star” inlay along with the name of the intersecting streets.

Other improvements include the design of inlays in the sidewalk and crosswalks with the names of corporate and/or individual sponsors and design of vertical elements to complement the streetscape.

As Program Managers to the Upper Kirby Management District, GUNDA is assisting in consultant selection, design management, alternative analysis, coordination with the City of Houston and other governmental and non-governmental entities and construction administration.
