Thompson Road Traffic Engineering

GUNDA completed traffic signal warrant studies at two intersections along Thompson Road. The first was located at the intersection of I-10 and Thompson Road, and the second at Lynchberg-Cedar Bayou and Thompson Road.

We also provided field investigations, data collection services, classification counts, calculated truck factors and projected traffic patterns into 2025.

GUNDA engineers designed traffic signals for one diamond intersection and one regular intersection along Thompson Road and coordinated the approvals for these signals from three different agencies: Harris County, TXDOT and the City of Baytown.
